职位描述：

Lab Manager — Saint Gobain Research Center (Shanghai)

Objective of the Position:
As a lab leader, develop and ute plans and project activities through direct reports and other resources in R&D Center, as well as business units to achieve identifiable and tangible benefits to BUs and their R&Ds.

Principal Acabilities:
1. Manage a 10+ team to support SG abrasive businesses on daily base.
2. Develop project plans and annual resources for budgets, etc. Manage the projects and administer the resources based on approved annual budgets and in collaboration with the department manager.
3. Develop long term plans and programs to enhance team capabilities in terms of equipment, measurement/analysis tools, techniques and such resources. Execute agreed plans as part of R&D Center.
4. Work closely with R&D, Application Engineering and Business Unit team in developing a portfolio of project for test method development, customer problem solving and/or new directions for grinding technology research. Facilitate ution of such projects through internal resources and others accessible through external contents such as customer, OEMs, Universities, ect.
5. Develop and administer a program on education & training for fostering applications technology skills required for sales and marketing team and other BU needs.
6. Strictly follow company EHS & 5S policies and regulations.

Education Background:
Master / Ph.D.
Majored in Grinding or Mechanical related fields

Competences Required:
1. Strong interpersonal skills.
2. Management experience in MNC is a plus.
