中科院成都生物所与加拿大纽芬兰大学联合培养博士招聘启事
中科院成都生物所湿地与全球变化课题组目前研究领域主要为湿地生态系统碳氮生物地球化学循环及其对气候变化的响应。由于工作需要及与加拿大纽芬兰大学合作，拟在北方泥碳地开展通量监测和模型研究，采用静态箱法和涡度相关法监测泥碳地疏干对其生态系统温室气体排放的影响。
现湿地与全球变化课题组欲招聘联合博士研究生1名（授纽芬兰大学学位），欢迎加盟。
一、应聘人要求
（一）具有生态学、环境科学及其它相关学科的硕士学位或2014年7月之前取得硕士学位；
（二）具有生态学背景和研究经历；
（三）热爱科研事业，能够进行独立试验室工作、野外取样；
（四）具有良好计算机基础、数据处理和统计分析能力；
（五）English Requirements
To be admitted into a graduate program at Memorial University, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English.
Applicants may demonstrate English proficiency in a number of ways:
1. Successful completion of equivalent to 3 years of secondary schooling (full time) at a recognized institution where the language of instruction was English, including successful completion of equivalent to two courses of grade 12 (non-ESL) English language and/or literature.
2. Successful completion of undergraduate or graduate degree from a recognized university where English is the language of instruction.
3. Valid minimum scores in the following standardized tests:
a. Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)<http://www.ets.org/>: 550 (paper-based test),213 (computer-based test), 80 (Internet-based test) and Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4
e. Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees (CanTEST)<http://www.cantest.uottawa.ca/>: 4.5 in listening and reading comprehension and 4 in writing
All test scores must be submitted by the testing agency. No photocopies or examinee score reports shall be accepted. Prior to submission, please ensure that your test score is still valid by contacting the responsible testing agency. Graduate applicants may fulfill the English requirement by successfully completing the 12-week Intensive English program offered at Memorial, and passing the institutional Carleton Academic English Language exam at the end of the program. Please note that graduate applicants seeking to fulfill the English requirement this way will have to apply separately to the ESL programs office in addition to submitting a graduate application. In exceptional cases, the Dean of Graduate Studies may accept other evidence of English proficiency with the strong recommendation of the appropriate academic unit. In such, cases students will normally be required to complete the English language placement test by the end of their first semester in program.
