Postdoctoral positions: Highly motivated PhD are invited for postdoctoral positions at the Stark Neuroscience Research Institute at Indiana University. Candidates will perform research on injury and neuroregeneration in genetic modified or brain injury mice models.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. or M.D. in neuroscience or a related discipline and are expected to develop a strong research project in neural stem cell and neuroregeneration. Expertise in tissue culture and molecular biology is essential, and expertise or interest in mouse transgenic, knockout and conditional knock is desirable. Research assistant positions: Seeking qualified individuals to work in CNS injury neuroscience laboratories at the Stark Neuroscience Research Institute at Indiana University. Positions entail performing genotyping, histological, immunohistochemical and immunoblotting experiments on brain and spinal cord from rodents. Image analysis, including densitometry, cell counting, and lesion measurements, tissue preparation and cutting, and general laboratory tasks are also integral.
