入职时间越早越好。2012年1月1日能入职的优先。
We are recruiting postdoc fellows in the Department of Biology and Chemistry, City University of Hong Kong (http://www.hit-team.net/). We have been focusing on the development of sustainable chemistry. The application of in situ spectroscopy is a key part of our work providing molecular level understanding for better design. Now we need postdoc fellows on projects on sustainable biomass conversions, studying the conversion of carbohydrates to platform molecules.
The researches require fluent English speaking and understandings on organometallic chemistry, homogeneous catalysis, in situ spectroscopy, Schlenk techniques, organic synthesis, green chemistry concepts, etc. Wide ranges of techniques will be deployed, like NMR (1H, 13C, 19F, COSY, HSQC, HMBC, etc), GC, MS, IR, in situ IR, DSC&TGA, etc. Candidates must be aware of good lab practice and prepared to work to high standards of health and safety in this world class research team.
