One of the laboratory’s main focuses is the role played by antibodies and B cells in multiple sclerosis (MS). We aim to identify and characterize disease-relevant B cells and their targets, both structurally and functionally.
The ideal candidate is a talented and highly motivated PhD or MD/PhD with a good level of independence and a strong background in immunology and/or protein biochemistry. An interest in or experience with bioinformatics and analyses of high-throughout data sets (microarrays, nextgen sequencing) is advantageous. A sincere interest in human immunology is expected.
Previous experience should include some of the following: Immunological methods (FACS, Western, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation), cell culture, molecular cloning.
The candidate is expected to be a true team player and to be willing to participate in grant and manuscript writing.
