job description
Requirements: PhD (attained after 2008 or before July 2021) and molecular biology skills. Note: expires by February 1st. This grant application will open by February 2011. This is a public call for carrying out a 3-year post-doc in Spain. Successful candidates are known by July. This is a very competitive process, thus a good CV is required (especially publications in peer-reviewed journals). The researcher will work with qPCR and proteomics techniques to assess DNA damage in histone-rich and protamine-rich regions of mammal spermatozoa, measure changes in telomere lenght and detect the presence of the apoptotic marker PARP and caspases. Most of the work deals with molecular biology techniques (DNA work, PCR) and cell biology (flow cytometry, immunostaining).
Don’t forget to mention Naturejobs when applying.
